UN PO' is the small, personal wine project of Matt Purbrick from Minimum Wines to celebrate the joys of truly natural ancestral winemaking—i.e. just wild fermented organically grown grapes, no additives, sulphur or control, pure energy & feeling—because these are the wines that I love to make and drink.
I made the first wine for this project, Soft Soft Big Big, in Australia in 2020, from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on Yorta Yorta Country. The second UN PO’ wine was made in 2022 from the first harvest of Fiano grapes we grafted onto the same Yorta Yorta vineyard back in 2020. That wine, The Moon Is An Apricot, has now been released Australia-wide via our Minimum shop.
Except for Australian harvest time, I am now EU-based—between Italy and Berlin—and have made some more future releases for this project in Italy, my ancestral home. Friends and I are putting the finishing touches on those wines right now, soon to be released in Europe! Stay tuned friends.
